Day 6 - 6 Day Reflection to Projection Project

This is it! The final day of 2017 and the final day of the 6 Day Reflection to Projection Project. Pretty easy little project right? I think so. But it's powerful enough to get the energy moving in the direction you want it to go in the coming year. Did you choose a few milestones yesterday and include both business and personal ones? I hope you wrote down some good ones because when I send out the recorded Vision Statement workshop and sheets you will use those (and all the other prompts) to set the stage for the first half of 2018.

Let's take a look at our final Projection prompt:

Oh the good ol' comfort zone. If you aren't INTENTIONALLY aware of it it can keep you from moving forward and making meaningful progress toward those milestones you have your eye on. Staying in the same job, the same undesirable relationship or even in the same financial situation often boils down to the comfort zone. I've experienced ALL of these. It's not that the comfort zone is necessarily "comfortable" because it usually isn't. You want more or different things. But it is familiar and the unknown can be perceived as MORE uncomfortable than your current situation. I get it. I've been there with relationships (more than once) and a job or two in my life. Finances have pretty much always been a thing for me too (and sometimes due to the previous two things). This coming year we are going to change all that right?! The power of support, especially when you are moving out of your comfort zone, is a key factor in your success. Even if it's just someone who will keep telling you everything always works out. But having someone to help guide you AND give you support and accountability kicks the whole process up a notch. Today take a look at what you have written down over the past 5 days and make a decision about what out of your comfort zone thing you will be pursuing in the first half of 2018. Write that down, even if it makes you nervous to put it on paper, and then go ahead and write how it makes you feel to have chosen that. THEN and most importantly, write down how you will feel when you have actually done this thing. On a side note; don't get caught up in the how. Don't think about how you are going to do this thing and don't put too much energy in what you perceive to be the "success" of it. Because I'm going to tell you this, no matter the outcome, when you actually do the thing that pushes you out of your comfort zone - you have succeeded. You have stretched your boundaries and you have learned something new about yourself. You now have an experience to put in your tool chest that you can come back to to prove to yourself that you CAN do something. That you CAN push yourself and make it through the other side OK. It's a powerful thing. Now get to it! Tell that comfort zone to fuck off because you are breaking through it!

Share this project with a friend so you can support each other to move out of your comfort zones and see what it looks like on the other side.

Here are the Reflection to Projection sheets you can download and print if you don't have a favorite journal.
