Investing our time and/or money is something we MUST do in order to achieve the dreams we have for ourselves.
And believe me, money is almost always something that comes up as resistance to doing something. I absolutely know that first hand.
But I can tell you this, I would not be where I am today or have met the amazing people I have met had I not invested in myself. There is no doubt in my mind that financially investing in yourself, pushes you to invest your time whole-heartedly in order to achieve the vision you have for your life.
Am I where I wanted to be in my business at this time this year? Nope, absolutely not. But I also know that I have gotten in my own way.
I have let the brain bitch (a lovely term I got from a friend) talk be into holding back and not really pushing myself out of my comfort zone.
But I'm going to be telling her to fuck off! I need to do things to grow my business and become more visible. I need to make personal connections - which I really love doing anyway. I need to get over the I'm not good enough shit that pops up.
I was nudged by the Universe to really step into entrepreneurship and that is exactly what I intend to do. Being forced out of my corporate comfort zone is allowing me to fully dive into my business. To take action!
Not only have I learned a lot from my coaches but I've also learned a lot from the 23 women I've had the honor to connect with in my interview series. They have all followed their hearts, honored their passions, and have created a life within that realm. Is it always easy? Are ponies pooping rainbows everyday? Absolutely not!
But you know what? Not one of them have said they would ever go back to full-time corporate work. Not one. This alone is a good motivator for those of us used to working inside the box. There is life, a good one, if you are brave enough to explore being your own boss.
Sometimes we need to get a job outside of our passion in order to support the growth of that dream. That is totally ok. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU HAVE GIVEN UP!
You are simply making it happen! You are doing what you need to do in order to reach your destination. You finding a way to INVEST in yourself and your vision. YAY YOU!

There is power in a collective vision and when we hold that sacred space for each other to be nourished and grow, we ourselves grow immensely too.
